Going through some boxes today, I found some drawings from 2004. They are tons lighter than what I am currently working on, and it was a nice break, so I thought I would share this guy. Even after five years he is still one of my all time favorite illustrations.

And those all important details…
It was good to find this gentleman after trying to work on the Seven Deadly Sin Lust today. It is kicking my ass, let me just say. It wigs me out just sketching it so I don’t know how I am going to deal with painting it. If I can’t get over that the project is in jeopardy of being scrapped. I don’t want to do that, though, so I will try to have a working sketch up that doesn’t make me cringe by tomorrow evening.
For those interested, this gentleman was done with graphite, dry watercolor cakes, and pen and ink on an Impressions medium weight sketch pad.
